Cleaning

• 1). Spray the surface of the granite monument with water from a pump sprayer. Add two drops of liquid dish soap to a scrub sponge. Add a few drops of water and wring into a lather.
  
  
• 2). Scrub the granite with the soapy sponge. Rinse with a small amount of the water from the pump sprayer.
  
  
• 3). Wipe down the granite surface with soft rags. Allow at least two hours for the granite to completely dry.
  
  

Sealing

• 1). Trim any grass at the bottom of the monument. Lay down a drop cloth to protect grass at the base of the granite.
  
  
• 2). Hold the can of spray sealant the recommended distance and angle from the granite surface. Always read the label and follow product-specific directions. Apply a light and even coating of the sealant.
  
  
• 3). Allow two to three hours for the sealant to dry. Buff the surface to a high shine using a soft rag.
