How to Stuff a Stocking for a Fisher
- 1). Restock the tackle box for the fisher in your life by filling the stocking with plenty of fishing accessories. Common accessories that will fit into a stocking are sinkers, hooks, extra line and even a brand new reel. These items are relativity cheap, too, so the stocking can be stuffed full.
- 2). Add even more equipment to the stocking by supplying him with some bait. Live earthworms probably will not go over as well, so stick to artificial baits like rubber worms, rooter tails and other lures.
- 3). Keep the fisherman busy when he is not fishing by filling the stocking with a few fishing magazines.
- 4). Look for a collection of fishing novelty items from a variety of stores and websites. One of the more unique items that will fit nicely into the stocking is the fishing reel toilet paper holder. This toilet paper holder actually reels out the paper as necessary and looks good in any bathroom. Other items include fishing cribbage boards, desk decorations and small picture frames.
- 5). Finalize the stocking with some fishing items associated with Christmas. The easiest thing to purchase for this is fishing themed ornaments. You can get ornaments featuring Santa with a fishing pole or even just a fish itself.
