A Homemade Garden Sprinkler
- 1). Pair the ends of two of the PVC pieces to form a V shape. Use an elbow connector to secure the two pieces together. Make a second V shape with the remaining two PVC pipes and one of the elbow connectors.
- 2). Pair the two V-shaped sets together to form a square or diamond. Use the remaining elbow connector to join the Vs along one of the open corners of the square. Secure the remaining open corner of the square with a Y-shaped connector.
- 3). Drill three evenly spaced holes into the uppermost edge of each pipe with the holes angled slightly outward. These will be the holes the water exits the sprinkler from. Do not drill straight through the pipe or water will be soaking the ground under the sprinkler.
- 4). Connect the end of your garden hose to the Y-shaped connector on the square with a PVC female adapter. Lay the square where you want to water your yard with the drilled holes facing up. Turn on the water hose to start the sprinkler.
