The Fall of Reason in the West

26
Per British historian Edward Hallet Carr, history is an ongoing dialogue between the past and the present; and, in that regard, it is simply not possible to understand many of the societal problems that the West faces today without a proper comprehension of their historical perspective.
And for as much as Great Britain once virtually controlled one half of the earth, understanding certain historical currents that once strongly affected British society sheds light on understanding contemporary issues in American society, and more generally, the West.
The Age of Enlightenment, somewhere between 1650 and 1800, and beyond; was a period of dramatic intellectual activism that advocated societal reform through the acquisition of knowledge and a strong focus on reason.
One of the casualties of this intriguing age was the importance of religion-in particular, the Christian religion-in society.
The Enlightenment period's philosophies' overarching emphasis on reason as a principal vehicle to solving societal problems eclipsed and minified the solid value of religion-especially the Christian religion-in society.
Their blind, brash scorn and myopic discredit of Christianity were an egregious blunder.
Their wanton disregard for the intrinsic value of Christianity's love- driven message to human society was an abominable blunder that cost the West dearly.
The shallow, abject idea that mere reason was the arch ingredient needed to solve societal problems was a blind stretch of the human imagination.
This ridiculous oversimplification of things, on the part of the Enlightenment's philosophies, initiated an ever-spiraling decline of the human family structure and the attendant fall of human society.
The philosophies, master occultists and secret society operatives, worked unwearyingly to engender a new type of human society, devoid of the traditionally sacrosanct and unquestioned influence of the Holy Bible.
Their overwhelmingly strong focus on reason and secular knowledge, through the false religion of modern science, challenged and discredited Christianity's focus on faith and a Holy God, whom no man could see with his naked eyes.
In the process, society's new antichristian focus lost track of things; and, inasmuch as many of their evil inventions had no rational basis whatsoever, Europe's societal engineers began distancing themselves from the idea of reason.
Their strong antichristian emphasis; their naturalistic stance; their brash atheism, their baseless evolutionary focus; their irrational support for sodomy; and their incandescent promotion of alternative lifestyles explained their radical, anti-biblical vision for society.
In a nutshell, they wanted a secular society free from Christianity's influence.
They incandescently hated the repulsive message of love that Christianity taught.
The enlightenment philosophies tortious ideas and twisted, perverted worldview opened up the flood gates of dark, unnatural passions in society; which could not be explained by reason.
These dashing, Promethean occultists rabidly resisted the Christian message, thus ushering in one of the darkest and bloodiest eras in human history.
In actuality, France's Enlightenment Age never really ended; its contemporary philosophies merely dropped their focus on reason and intensified their effort in the area of modern science, which adopted the irrational concept of evolution.
Since then, these philosophies' sweeping, antichristian modern scientific focus has given then a huge proselytizing platform and a sprawling worldwide empire.
Anyone who has studied the French Revolution knows that it was fueled by a barbaric movement that transmogrified France into a bloody butcher stall, far removed from the halls of reason.
Blood gushed like water from a broken fire hydrant.
All the butchers behind the French Revolution were Enlightenment philosophies.
They strangled the Christian Church and pushed their false, polytheistic religious system with all their might.
Robespierre, a key power broker in the French Revolution, worked tirelessly to effect a post-Christian French society in the wake of the bloody mess.
Robespierre himself introduced his own brand of antichristian religion into France at the peak of the French of Revolution.
His new religion, the Cult of the Supreme Being, was to become the state religion of the new French society he had envisioned; and, of course, replacing Christianity.
Robespierre and his blood-thirsty retinue of henchmen engineered the abolition of the French monarchy and chopped off the head of the king.
Most historians vehemently believe that killing Louis XVII, king of France, was one of the biggest blunders made by the ruthless philosophies of the French Revolution.
The problems in French society could have been resolved without spilling the king's blood.
It was as if the brawling gates of hell were flung wide open in France, and one of the men behind all this senseless anguish and poignant human destruction was maximillien Robespierre.
Seemingly possessed by the devil himself, Robespierre's killing spree has very few rivals in the picturesque theatre of the human experience.
He killed the king; he caused the queen Marie Antoinette to be put to death.
He killed city folks and country folks; and then his fateful turn came for the ghastly guillotine knife, a horror spectacle that he never envisioned.
The French Revolution was a direct consequence of the extreme, incandescent ideas of the Enlightenment period's philosophies.
It was their perverse, radical ideas that invoked the frenzied social unrest and senseless carnage that followed in its wake.
Their insistence on solving society's problems through the instrumentality of reason-at the expense of the sacrosanct guidelines presented in the Holy Bible-was the spark that lit the brawling inferno of the French Revolution.
And, in the wake of that shockingly ugly spectacle, human society has changed forever.
According to many historians, most philosophies-like Robespierre and Voltaire-were deists; but when one digs further beneath the surface of this mysterious word, he finds that the term deist was a pert designation for devil worshipper.
The Enlightenment's philosophies were expert occultists and secret society operatives: They clearly meant to transmute human society into a virtual hell hole-and they did.
But that was not the fiery message that they preached to society's masses: They promised society peace and freedom from the problems of the past.
Although Robespierre did not last long, his ideas of a post-Christian age are very much alive today and are reflected in virtually every aspect of twenty-first century, Western civilization.
Robespierre exemplified the philosophies' brash radicalism and poisonous animosity for the Christian worldview.
The Enlightenment Age's masterminds' toxic hatred and impassioned scorn for Christianity engendered a new age of darkness that has continued in the world to this day.
The societal architects and power brokers of the French Revolution carved out a new kind of human society that can topple any political regime anywhere in the world with the iron might of human will and unimaginable cruelty and barbarity.
The Age of Darkness, initiated by the Enlightenment period and its attendant devilish French Revolution, never really ended.
According to these societal architects, matters of right and wrong are irrelevant and unimportant; and there is no God.
This is the central doctrine and sermon that they have been preaching to society virtually everywhere in the world.
This radical, atheistic message has practically turned the global community into a moral trash heap.
All the news stories today are riddled with amoral acts and moral transgressions and infractions.
How did all this happen? During the Enlightenment period, the rapid industrial expansion in Europe and North America fostered sprawling urban growth in the two regions.
In the process, urban centers-especially large ones-became powerful population magnets, thus triggering the largest and most dynamic migration pattern in human history.
There was a massive exodus of people migrating from rural to urban areas.
German sociologist Tonnes observed the sharp contrast in the character and quality of life among these rural and urban dwellers.
Per Tonnes, people who lived in characteristically small, rural communities tended to be genuine and trustworthy.
They maintained more stable relationships; and, overall, their lives had more meaning.
Contrary to these meaningful, tight-knit rural communities; Tonnes found a diametrically opposite situation in urban centers.
Typically, urban dwellers tended to be more plastic, artificial, and untrustworthy; moreover, they also tended to have less stable family structures.
What happened here was that, unfortunately; as people left their simpler, more natural rural environments and cane into the morally looser urban atmosphere; they forgot the Christian socialization which they had received in smaller rural settings.
They left their Bible manners at home and quickly adapted to the looser moral environment in the city'; furthermore, some went to universities in the city and were quickly indoctrinated and brainwashed with the fresh, slick ideas of the dashing philosophies.
Perhaps, they were told that Christianity was an old, archaic religion out of step with the ideas of the new urban society: it was a religion only for losers! These new urban dwellers swallowed these fresh ideas bait, hook, liner, fisherman, and his boots! In the process, the Christian worldview suffered immensely.
Accordingly, even the Christian Church itself became very corrupt; drowned in the baneful tsunami of naturalism and secularism.
The corrupt, hypocritical Christian Church; replete with suckers unwilling to stand up for the truth of the Bible, became the laughing stock of society and the idea of a Holy God became more and more grotesque in the eyes of the new dashing, urban, cosmopolitan society.
Thus, the unassailable fact of the resurrected Christ became blurred in the seething fog of modern science's lies and moral infractions.
A flashflood of perversion raced through the cities of Europe and North America.
A rash of alternative lifestyles sprouted in Western societies, as prostitution and sodomy overran society and waxed out of control.
For as much as the widespread perversion of nature could not be explained by reason, the dashing philosophies quietly began to distance themselves from a reason-driven, sociopolitical ideology to one that was driven mainly by irrationality, dogmatism, and arrogance.
It is rather pathetic and unfortunate that things have not changed much since that time; to the contrary, things have gotten ever worst, as emboldened philosophies have continued to cavalierly violate nature's sacrosanct laws without impunity from the venal, disgraceful powers that be.
Thus, today; the pert philosophies shove their perversion and unnatural lifestyles down other people's throats whether they like it or not; brashly preparing America for another sanguinary cvil War.
They have shifted all the way to the other side of the ideological spectrum and adopted an irrational public policy of gimmickry, arrogance, dogmatism, propaganda, and political manipulation.
This is merely because their evil, perverted philosophy of life cannot stand up to the pure, piercing light of reason, truth, morality, and natural order.
A note or warning does need to be issued at this juncture: If the French Revolution is any reliable guide to understanding the way the philosophies execute business and their proclivity to raw, unvarnished barbarity; the world can count on one thing: Much more French Revolution action lies just behind the bend of all this falsehood and moral chaos that inundate Western societies today.
Additionally, if the Book of Revelation is indeed painting a poignantly accurate picture of things to come upon this world, the philosophies are just about ready to strike again: Only that this time, two billion people will be swept away in a rushing, roaring river of their own blood.
Oh that the world would wake up before it is too late!
