    Invitations

    • Design an invitation to announce to your guests the one-of-a-kind experience they will have at your party. Start with a 12-inch by 6-inch piece of pink card stock. Fold the card in half to create a 6-inch by 6-inch square. Trace a tongue-shape on the square. Cut the shape out leaving the folded-edge uncut. Draw a line from the center of the folded line to the center of the cut out to create the line of the tongue. On the inside of the invitation, write you invitation. Include phrasing, such as "Prepare your taste buds for a tasting adventure."

    Decorations

    • Use the foods you intend to serve as inspiration for your decorations. Cut out lime and lemon shapes from pieces of colored poster-board and hang them around the party venue. Print photographs of spicy or sour foods, such as hot sauce, sour candies or vinegar. Frame the pictures in inexpensive picture frames found at your local thrift store. Hang them on the walls or place them on the tables around the room. Place the miracle fruit for your guests into a serving bowl and place it in the center of the table as a functional decoration.

    Foods

    • Choose foods for your party that are hard for some people to eat, such as spicy foods or sour foods. For example, give your guests hot sauce shots. Or, make a batch of chicken wings with the made with habaneros. Another idea is to order Chinese takeout that uses hot peppers. When choosing sour foods, offer cut lemons and limes to your guests as you would orange wedges. Create alcoholic milk shakes by giving your guests a glass of stout beer with a scoop of lemon or lime sorbet.

    Activities

    • Although the experience of drinking a shot of hot sauce and it tasting sweet is an adventure in itself, turning the tasting into a game is an option. Blindfold the guests or place them in a blacked-out room. Give the guests different foods to try to ask them what they taste. The guest who gets the most correct answers wins a prize of your choosing.
