How to View Microsoft PowerPoint Files With Mac Software
- 1). Transfer your PowerPoint file to your Mac computer by dragging it to the desktop from its present location. This could be an email, a flash drive, CD-ROM or other media.
- 2). Right-click on the file and select "Open with" and then "Keynote."
- 3). Execute any edits you need to make on the slides. Click in the slides to edit text or data, and use the Format commands at the top of the screen to alter the look of the content.
- 4). Begin the slide show by selecting "Play" from the menu at the top of the screen, followed by "Play slideshow." You can practice the presentation by choosing "Rehearse slideshow" from the Play menu. The rehearsal tool provides a stopwatch and a viewer that shows both the present slide and the next slide, so you can time your presentation and see the upcoming slide.
