How to Program a Chevy Tahoe Remote
- 1). Shift your Tahoe into park and move the key into the "On" position.
- 2). Hold the trip odometer button (right side of instrument cluster) for three seconds, until the message "Remote Key Learning Active" is displayed.
- 3). Press and hold the "Lock" and "Unlock" buttons on the remote for fifteen to twenty seconds, until you hear a confirmation chime.
- 4). Turn the ignition to "Off" and remove the key to finalize the programming sequence.
- 1). Make sure all the doors are closed, and then insert the key without turning it.
- 2). Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the door panel (hold it while performing step three).
- 3). Turn the ignition to "On" (without cranking), and then back to "Off". Then, turn it to "On" and back to "Off" again.
- 4). Release the "Unlock" button on the door panel.
- 5). Press and hold the "Unlock" and "Lock" buttons on your remote until the door locks cycle (this will take approximately 30 seconds).
