How to Make Origami Crosses
- 1). Cut a strip of paper about two inches wide and 30 inches long.
- 2). Fold the top of the strip down one third diagonally to the left, so that the strip makes an upside down "L" shape. Fold the strip around the middle three times.
- 3). Divide the top cross in thirds, then fold two thirds to the right, leaving one third on the right side. Repeat for the right side, making a "T" shape with equal sides.
- 4). Fold the top cross pieces down one time. Pull the long end of the cross up through the hole fold in the center of the "T" shape. Leave about 2 or inches at the top of the cross shape and pull the rest back down through the fold.
- 5). Fold the long bottom cross piece up behind the cross shape and tuck it into the fold behind the cross. Tape the folds in place if necessary to prevent the cross from coming undone.
