Magic or Sorcery has always been a part of our culture.
People have always been fascinated by magicians and have tried to copy them by learning the tricks of their trade.

Apart from the trick, they create such a buzz and mystique around the trick, which also adds to the flavour of the trick.
Now talking of tricks, there are many genres of these magic tricks ranging from "the soft rabbit coming out of the hat" to the "masked magician cutting down his assistant in two halves".
However, the one category that has stood out and has endured every test of the time is the card trick.
Card tricks are performed throughout the world, ranging from street magic shows to the big branded ones.
Card tricks have a lot of varieties and if executed properly, these magic tricks can still work their charm.
Let us discuss a few varieties of such card tricks.

• The Vanishing Card- This is one of the simplest magic tricks involving the use of cards.
  Here what the magician does.
  He/she chooses a set of say five cards and asks the spectator to choose one.
  The spectator chooses the card and keeps the face value of the card to himself.
  Later the magician shuffles those five cards and LO! The spectator's chosen card is gone.
  This can make the spectator bite his tongue.
  However, the truth of the matter is that the magician has changed all the five cards and the spectator has failed to see this as he/she has concentrated hard only on his/her card.
  Well, this trick is one of the easiest to execute and still can make you popular among your peers.
  
• Changing Card- This is one of the most amazing tricks involving a standard deck of fifty-two cards.
  Here, the magician asks the spectator to pick a card and memorise it.
  Then he asks the spectator to put the card back in the deck wherever he/she wants to.
  Then after some rounds of shuffling, the spectator takes out a card and asks the spectator whether this is his/her card? The spectator feeling ecstatic replies in a negative and at the same instant, the incorrect card changes into the correct one.
  The spectator is spellbound and speechless.
  Well, the magician uses false shuffling to confuse the spectator and quickly removes two cards from the deck.
  The correct one and the one next to it.
  With some quick fingers, magician is able to remove the incorrect card and the correct card just behind it surfaces to astound the spectator.
  
• The Rising Card- Here again, the spectator is asked to choose a card and after memorising it, the spectator is asked to keep the card back in the deck.
  After a bit of a shuffling, the magician keeps the deck of cards away from himself and suddenly the spectator's jaws begin to drop as his/her chosen card starts to rise itself.
  This is done by using a gaffed deck of cards having a pulley inside.
  This trick never ceases to amaze the spectators.
