How to Install Confluence & JIRA on Ubuntu Fast
- 1). Click the "System" option on the top taskbar in Ubuntu.
- 2). Click the "Administration" option and select "Synaptic Package Manager" to open the package installer.
- 3). Type "Confluence" -- without quotes -- into the search box in the upper right corner of the Synaptic window. Press the "Search" icon. The Confluence program entry shows in the first spot in the window.
- 4). Right-click on the "Confluence" entry and select "Mark for Installation."
- 5). Type "JIRA" into the search input box and click the "Search" icon. The libjira library shows first in the window.
- 6). Right-click the "libjira" entry and select "Mark for Installation."
- 7). Click the "Apply" button on the top navigation bar of Synaptic. The password prompt appears.
- 8). Type the administrative password into the prompt and click "OK." The packages install to Ubuntu very quickly.
