Uses

• The DVI-to-component video adapter has several uses. In addition to simply using a television as a monitor via this adapter, you can also use this adapter to do video mirroring and to create an extended desktop.
  
  Video mirroring happens when the same image that's displayed on the main screen also appears on a second screen. Examples include hooking a laptop up to a larger display for a presentation. With an extended desktop, the documents open on one computer can be split between two screens, giving the user more screen space to work.
