Are you the Cat or the Mouse?
The Cat see's the mouse, chases it and hopes to catch it. He patiently waits for the mouse to come out of the mouse hole to attack. Eventually, he gets bored and gives up, until he spots the mouse again and then he repeats his same actions. Sometimes it pays off for the Cat, but what he doesn't realize is that for every one mouse he sees, there are 20 or more.
What is the goal of the Cat? A one-time meal, a play toy, the challenge of the chase?
The mouse avoids the Cat at all possible costs. It is a life or death situation for him. Instead he spends his time building a team, nurturing them, mentoring them, training them, teaching them to avoid the Cat and has an ultimate objective for himself and his team.
What is the goal of the Mouse?
Wikipedia describes this as follows:
Cat and mouse, often expressed as cat-and-mouse game, is an English-language idiom dating back to 1675 that means "a contrived action involving constant pursuit, near captures, and repeated escapes."[1] The "cat" is unable to secure a definitive victory over the "mouse", who despite not being able to defeat the cat, is himself unable to decisively escape. In extreme cases, the idiom may imply that the contest is never-ending.
Who wins in the end?
This same principal can be applied in Social Networking, Internet Marketing, Brick & Mortar Business, Network Marketing and Relationship Building on a professional level.
If you are constantly chasing people for a one-time reward, than you are the Cat.
However, if you believe in building a strong team and rewarding your team for their efforts than you are the mouse.
If you are tired of spinning your wheels and are interested in building a lifetime residual income for you and your family; then I would like to talk to you.
