When I Love You Becomes Pure Poison
I love you is a common phrase that sounds like music in most people's ears.
People die to hear it and can do almost anything for it but they would rather die than admit it.
They are usually referred to as the three magic words.
It is the one thing that makes the world to advance from one generation to another.
It makes things go on and on.
It is actually one of the world's major mysteries because not even learned professors who can answer the question of what is love exhaustively.
It is a theme in every home, church and work place.
If there was no love I doubt if there would be sex and therefore there would be no reproduction.
To fill the world you must love each other.
God put it there as a need so that people can live with each other.
Every body wants to be loved.
The words I love you are very expensive and they can cost you a lot.
Unfortunately they have been misused in many scenarios.
People use them to get what they want.
Men have been notorious for using them to get sex from women.
Women too have used them to gain financial help or gain in any other way.
It is amazing because as they say, love is blind because nobody sees the reality until the damage is already done.
I recently heard of a story that left me struggling for breath.
A single mother who was out to live for her daughter used a young man and you would think he was stupid to think that they were married.
I love you are strong words that makes anything seem possible.
The man in question had been dating this woman for around seven years.
She was jobless by the time they met but since she was well educated she soon got a job.
It was great because the man was also earning some good money.
Her lifestyle picked up with only one working year and she started pressurizing the guy to buy her a car.
The guy upon hearing "i love you" took a loan and bought a car from the wife's sister.
His business got under and he was left with expensive house rent to pay.
The wife got a job with the UN and moved to another town.
She does not chip in paying any bill and says that he cannot help him since she is paying house rent school rent for the daughter.
When I listened to him telling me the story I thought of walking up to him and giving him a hard slap on the face.
That was foolery of the highest order and you would guess any blind man would see.
The words I love you preceded and concluded any suggestion he got from the wife.
The wife refused to give birth to another kid in argument that he had to build for the them a house and buy a plot.
It was when I was reflecting on his words that it dawned on me that the three words are so powerful it is unbelievable.
Now that they have separated, he can clearly see the light and openly talk about out.
The moral teaching of my narration should be that every love relationship should feature moments apart when every partner relaxes and analyzes the issues surrounding them.
