Create Your Tumblr Blog

• 1). Visit the Tumblr sign up page, which you can find at www.tumblr.com/register.
  
  
• 2). Type your email address into the first box on the page, and a password into the second. In the third box, type in the name you want to assign to your blog. Tumble will automatically add ".tumblr.com" to the end of this name. Click "Start Posting" to continue.
  
  
• 3). Check the email account that you used to sign up. Click the link in the email from Tumblr to verify your account. Click the "Go to Tumblr" button in the web page that opens up to access your Tumblr blog.
  
  

Make a Post on Tumblr

• 1). Direct your browser to your Tumblr dashboard website, which you can find at www.tumblr.com/dashboard.
  
  
• 2). Click the icon at the top of the page that corresponds to the type of post you want to make. You can choose between "Text," "Video," "Audio," "Photo," "Quote," "Link" or "Chat."
  
  
• 3). Type in your post, or a caption for your media file. If you chose to add a audio or image file, you will have to click the "Browse" button and search for the desired file on your hard drive. If you choose to add a video file, you can enter the URL location of the video, or choose "Upload a Video" to search your hard drive for the video file.
  
  
• 4). Click the "Create Post" button to submit your post to your Tumblr blog.
