Characterized by large antlers and a white cape, sub-species of caribou are found in every Canadian province. Hunters from around the world travel to Canada every year to hunt caribou for the trophy antlers. Hiring an outfitter and guide can increase your chances for success while caribou hunting on the open tundra or mountains. - Since the 1970s, Safari Nordik has operated caribou hunting trips for the Quebec-Labrador caribou in the Leaf River and George River herds. With a population of more than 650,000 caribou, these herds consist of several thousand animals. The guides change the camp location based on the migration and concentration of caribou. This ability to move camp has helped Safari Nordik achieve an average success ratio of 1.9 caribou per hunter. Choose from several trip packages to match your budget and preference.
