In PowerPoint 2003

• 1). Install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack (Microsoft.com) to your computer.
  
  
• 2). Launch PowerPoint 2003. Click "File" and select "Open." Use the "Look in" menu to find the folder in which the PowerPoint 2007 file is located. Highlight the PowerPoint 2007 file name and click the "Open" button.
  
  
• 3). Click "File" and select "Save As." Use the "Save in" menu to find a folder in which to save the file. Type a name for the file in the "File name" field and use the "Save as type" menu to select the "PowerPoint 97-2003 (PPT) option. Click the "Save" button.
  
  

In PowerPoint 2007

• 1). Launch PowerPoint 2007 and open the file you want to save in the 2003 format.
  
  
• 2). Click the Microsoft "Office" button and select the "Save As" option.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Save as type" drop-down menu and select the "PowerPoint 97-2003" option. Rename the file, if desired, by typing into the "File name" field. Click the "Save" button.
