How to Program a Garage Door Opener in a 2004 Nissan Quest Van
- 1). Enter your vehicle and press and hold the two outer buttons on your HomeLink system until the red indicator light on the system begins to flash.
- 2). Hold your garage remote two inches from the onboard system and press and hold the open button on your remote and the button you are programming on the HomeLink system. Release the buttons once the indicator light begins to flash rapidly.
- 3). Press the training button on your HomeLink system in your Quest until the light begins to glow solid. If the light continues to flash, continue to the following steps.
- 4). Press the "smart" button on your garage door motor. The button is located on the back or side of the system near the antenna wire and light lens.
- 5). Return to your vehicle and press the training button on your onboard system, hold it for three seconds and release. Repeat the press, hold and release sequence with this button until the system responds and the indicator light glows solid.
