Tips For a Proper JV Mailing Cycle

33
Deciding to take on a joint venture partner is a good collaborative effort if both parties work well together.
There should be a mutual understanding by both parties that they are in on it together.
Trying to make everything equal is crucial to trusting and building a partnership that will last well into the future.
When I do mailing for my joint venture partners also known as JV's, I always try to accommodate them.
Whenever I'm doing my email blasts, there's always a mixture of my own personal mailings as well as those mailings that I owe to people.
We always have a mutual understanding.
They mail for me and I mail for them.
I schedule my mailings so that both parties will benefit.
Whenever I have an opening, I'm always mailing my own stuff.
When I don't have an opening and when I don't have anything of my own that I need to mail to my list or if I've already kind of worn out my own stuff and mailed it a few times, then I move over to something else.
This is usually either an affiliate product mail out or a mail out for my joint venture partner.
I usually only send out the affiliate promotion if I've exhausted what I was mailing out for myself and for my JV partner.
The key thing is to understand your list.
You've got to feel it for yourself.
This is the way my mind works when I decide what I'm going to mail out to my list.
I say to myself, "Okay, I've already mailed this offer" or "I've already mailed my own offer, three times or four times to my list.
I think it's time for me to go to something else.
" At that point that's when you need to focus on mailing other people's stuff.
And then maybe the next month later, then you're bringing it back out because you've got new people on there that are new additions to your list.
At that point, that is when they should be sent that same offer.
Sometimes even though your list already got your offer, there are times when you need to send it again simply due to the fact that before, they may not have been ready for your offer - and now they are.
I might mail something of my own to my list three or four consecutive days, and then drop it and start mailing other people's stuff - whether it be my JV partner or an affiliate offer.
Later on I'll then come back to that same thing about 30, maybe even 60 days later, and then decide to mail it again.
This process continues month after month, year after year, simply because it works well for me.
So, to summarize, when somebody purchases a product from me, they go into my main general list that I'm going to be mailing every single day.
From that list, how do I decide what's going on that list? Well, a lot of times there are launches or there are things that I have to mail by a certain time or date.
I might be doing what's called a swap brag which means I'll mail for my JV partner and they'll send an email out to their list about my product.
These particular emails are not a part of my regularly scheduled autoresponder sequence.
Those are special emails in conjunction to the regularly scheduled ones.
So, if there's a good JV offer coming along the way, then I'll move my own promotion out of the way and mail for that instead.
(Unless I just can't because I have an official launch that's going on).
Building partnerships and working together for mutually beneficial results are one of the best ways to grow any business, whether online or offline.
I highly recommend it!
