Asthma Patients - A Must Know While Working Out
People who suffer with asthma and allergies need to be very careful.
Exercises are supposed to be very good for people; however for patients with asthma and allergies, they need to be extremely careful.
This can trigger their asthma.
There are some certain precautions that one can take when they are doing their exercise to prevent an asthma attack.
1)Take up exercises that are not very rigorous like swimming, yoga etc.
2)According to the climate, wear the appropriate clothing and even more carry whatever medications you use.
3)Write down in a piece of paper or a small note book emergency numbers.
Make sure you keep the number of your doctor, your family members ( all of them who can reach fast when needed), your friends ( especially the ones you are close to), the type of medication and the dosage prescribed by the doctor 4)Take small 5 min breaks and concentrate on your breathing.
This will also help you when you exercise.
5)Avoid working out for more than 10 minutes at a stretch, this way you'll be able to gain back you breathing.
6)When you are working out, maintain a pace where you are comfortable and you are not straining yourself.
7)Carry your pump along with just in case you need it.
8)If you are working out at a gym, give the important contact number list to the reception or your instructor.
9)Stop working out as soon as you feel breathless or having any sort of difficulty while breathing.
10) During your workouts always remember to breathe properly and calmly.

12) After you have completed your exercise, sit down for some time and then run in to the shower.
