Antioxidants - One of the Answers to Anti-Aging, But What Really Works Out There?

22
I have to admit that after over 85,000 plus hits on the internet about my antioxidants and MonaVie articles, I have to clarify a few things and also confess that a few of them are wrong.
But I am going to talk about the truth first...
and will repeat a few things that I have already written about and then I am going to clarify the rest and talk about what it was not correct...
These days we are exposed to free radicals on daily basis.
We are suffering from high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer, obesity, diabetes, stress, and more things that affect us even though we want to have a healthy lifestyle.
That is without counting, pollution, water contamination, chemicals on meat, and produce like fruits and vegetable wish we have to add to our list of free radicals.
Something that is real is that for decades the Baby boomer generation have marked the trend in our life.
The Baby boomer generation is now more than ever looking for alternatives to health.
Baby boomers are expected to spend a lot of money on health and anti-aging products.
Estimates are that the United States is spending over $2.
1 trillion on health care today.
The U.
S.
Census Bureau estimates that nearly 8,000 people turn 60 each day.
Fueled by an aging baby boomers population desire for better health and an image conscious younger generation, the trillion dollar wellness industry continues to grow.
They want more energy, better sleep, relief from aches and pain and have a fit and healthy body.
But for the first time not only the Baby boomers but everybody else wants the same thing...
a healthy lifestyle and stay looking young as long as possible.
To achieve a young and healthy lifestyle and body, the Food and Drug Administration or FDA recommends 4 to 6 portions of fruits minimum a day.
Unfortunately, the reality is that the majority of the people do not follow these guidelines in order to have a better quality of life.
What is a free radical? Because of harmful free radicals, toxic molecules of oxygen that damage every area of our bodies, we need to keep up with our health.
A free radical is an unstable incomplete molecule because it is missing an electron which exists in pair in stable molecules.
Free radicals steal an electron from another molecule, thereby create another free radical.
This new free radical then duplicates the process, resulting in a chain reaction of events, which can ultimately damage the body.
Free radicals are natural by-products of ongoing biochemical reactions in the body, including ordinary metabolic processes and immune system responses.
How can antioxidants fight free radicals? By having antioxidants in our daily routine we can fight free radicals and recover our health.
An antioxidant is a phytonutrient essential for life that prevents or delays oxidation.
They prevent rancid tastes and odors from developing in foods containing fat.
An antioxidant is most helpful when it spots a "free radical" (a molecule which has an unpaired electron).
An antioxidant neutralizes the free radical by supplying the missing electron and forming a complete pair.
Once the free radical is neutralized, it is no longer reactive.
Antioxidants fight cancer by neutralizing DNA-damaging free radicals.
Antioxidants neutralize free radicals as the natural by-product of normal cell processes.
Antioxidants prevent injury to blood vessel membranes, helping to optimize blood flow to the heart and brain, defend against cancer-causing DNA damage, and help lower the risk of cardiovascular disease and dementia, including Alzheimer disease.
How do I know that the antioxidant product that I a using is working? Once again, the best way to increase your antioxidants is by having a diet that includes a high portion of fruits and vegetable, but it is not necessarily a realistic amount for everybody.
That is why we use supplements, that help us to compliment what we eat.
But, here is what I was wrong about, I thought that any product that contains a high level of antioxidants in the bottle or package, will increase our antioxidant levels.
The truth is that we need to make sure that your body is actually absorbing that product.
One reason is the way the product is prepared, another reason is that its antioxidant in the package is not that high or simply our body doesn't absorbs that formula.
So only by a blood test or the Biophotonic Scanner we can tell if it is really working.
A lot of people that drinks Monavie, resulted in a very low antioxidant level compared with other juices and vegetable and fruit base supplements.
To my surprise even my own antioxidant level was supper low, even though I was drinking Monavie like juice, not by once.
What are other alternative available? Well, I like guarantees, and people like guarantees too.
When I was introduce to the challenge of Lifepak Nano and/or G3, I decided to take upon the challenge, basically if in two months my antioxidant level didn't go up, the company will refund 100% of my money.
What did I have to loose, right? To my surprise, my antioxidant level almost tripled in 2 months.
Not only that but I have had the opportunity to investigate 3rd party clinical with other supplements that the level of antioxidant have not really go up.
So my recommendation is do your homework...
hope this helps.
To our health and success...
