How to Create a Slot Machine for "Second Life"
- 1). Build an object for your slot machine. Create a separate object for the handle and buttons on the front face. The handle and buttons must be separate primitives so that resident can click and pull downthe lever.
- 2). Visit the Second Life Marketplace website. Click in the search box and type "Casino Scripts" or "Zyngo scripts." Several results pop up. In addition, if you want your own individual script, contact the creator of any of these scripts to ask about custom slot machine scripts.
- 3). Purchase the script from the Marketplace. The scripts send to you in-world. Drag to the ground and copy to your inventory. Alternatively, find a free game script from the LSL Script Database and Library or contact a script-maker from the database.
- 4). Drag the slot machine object to the ground and right-click, select "Edit." Click the "Contents" tab. Drag the slot machine scripts from your inventory into the slot machine. Click the "X" at the top of the build menu.
- 5). Right-click your slot machine object and select "Take" to place back in your inventory.
