Downloading Antivirus Software from the Internet

  Download.com is one of the largest online software databases available on the Internet. The website allows personal computer (PC) users to choose different types of software for a wide variety of platforms. For example, a PC user can customize their search for an antivirus on Download.com to find only programs that are free and are compatible with the Windows platform.
  
  
• 2). Type the phrase "antivirus" in the Download.com search field, and then select your platform by clicking on the drop-down menu located next to the search field area.
  
  
• 3). Search for a free downloadable antivirus program by clicking on the red search icon located to the right of the search field.
