Is the Supreme Court"s Ruling Concerning Same-Sex Marriage in Accordance With the Will of God?
Question: On June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruled that all states and the territories of America must allow gay marriage.
Is their ruling in accordance with God's will? Answer: Absolutely not! SCOTUS' ruling is blatantly against the principles of Yahweh.
By condoning gay marriage for the entire nation, the Supreme Court has acted in the place of God.
First and foremost, the institution of marriage is created by Yahweh, not by man.
Yahweh was the One who conducted the very first marriage in history when He presented Eve to Adam.
Only the Creator has right to change His institution.
Therefore, the Supreme Court has acted presumptuously by altering the design of marriage as if they were the one who created marriage in the first place.
Yahweh is the Lawmaker, not us.
He enforces His laws, while it's up to us to follow them, not alter them.
For instance, in the beginning, Yahweh allowed incestuous marriage; since Adam and Eve were the only two people in existence, their children had to marry one another.
But when the human population grew sufficiently, He no longer permitted incest.
Because Yahweh forbids incest, we cannot decide for ourselves that incest is okay, just as we have no right to decide for ourselves that gay marriage is acceptable.
Gay marriage is a grave sin, and those who condone it are not only sinning against God but sinning against others by promoting sin in other people's lives.
Homosexuality is forbidden in several Bible passages such as Leviticus 18:22.
Immediately following the ordinance against homosexual intercourse is the prohibition against bestiality Leviticus 18:23.
Committing homosexuality and bestiality are sins that warranted the death penalty under the Mosaic covenant (Leviticus 20:13, 15-16).
Under the new covenant for Christians, people who commit sexual immorality and refuse to repent will not enter the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
Simply put, they will be sentenced to eternal death.
This is an everlasting death penalty.
So shame on SCOTUS for ruling for gay marriage, and shame on us the people for celebrating this "victory.

We condone it when we should acknowledge it as a grave sin against God the Lawmaker.
