• B.K. Sweeney's has been a favorite of Bethpage locals since 1936. The restaurant enjoys a prime location in the heart of the village near Bethpage State Park. The interior, designed after traditional British pubs, is casual and sophisticated with deep oak wood-paneled walls, beamed ceilings and accents of green leather. The bar area features a large oval bar with plenty of counter seating and 23 televisions that satisfy even the most avid sports fans. A separate dining room provides a quieter and more intimate dining experience. The eclectic menu features a variety of appetizers, soups, side and entrée salads, sides, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, ribs and house specialty dishes. Customer favorites include sauerbraten with red cabbage, potato pancakes and gingersnap gravy, beer-battered fish and chips with cole slaw and tartar sauce, and classic shrimp scampi.
