Properly Install Screen Protectors on the HTC Freestyle

33
To begin, the first step would be to wipe any remaining dust and murk off the LCD screen of the HTC Freestyle. Prior to installing the screen protector, there should not be any leftover dust, smudges, grime, or dirt on the screen. If there is, this will be clearly visible underneath the screen guard for as long as the protector is in place. Getting rid of this also makes it unlikely that you'll have to replace the screen protector later on. If you do this precautionary cleaning, you'll guarantee the screen protector can be applied without any future issues.

The next step into installation is to properly cut the protector to make sure it properly fits the size of the phone's screen. This can manually be completed with a pair of scissors but using a ruler and box knife is highly recommended to get a precise cut. If you make a sloppy cut, it'll still fit but won't look nice on your HTC Freestyle.

Once the screen is cleaned and the film is fit nicely in place, the next step would be to peel the top layer away from the supporting protector. You will need to do this carefully and slowly to avoid tearing of the protector or wrinkling, as both of these will probably mean you will need to get a new protector for your HTC Freestyle. The moment you take off about an inch from the protector, you can line the top of the screen guard to the top of the HTC Freestyle's screen.

To conclude this process, press the protector right on the screen of the phone. You will also want to use a credit card or a similarly shaped and sized object to scrape the top of the screen protector over the screen; this will help you make sure that there are not any wrinkles or air bubbles to deal with while you push the screen protector down flat on the screen. Air bubbles can be very annoying to deal with, because once they are present, it then becomes impossible to get rid of them without removing the screen protector and installing a new one.

As you can see, it pays to pay a bit of attention to procedures that might appear to be simple, such as the installation of screen guards on smart phones like the HTC Freestyle. Along the way, it cannot hurt to look into some of the many accessories available such as a charger, battery, and of course a screen guard.
