How to Make a Double Bladed Inline Lure
- 1). Hold the spinner wire by the formed loop on the end. Slid a bead down the wire to the loop.
- 2). Insert the end of a clevis through the hole in a spinner blade. Slide the spinner blade down onto the "U" shape of the clevis.
- 3). Feed the lure wire through the ends of the U-shaped clevis. Push the clevis and blade assembly down next to the bead.
- 4). Place another bead on the wire followed by a second clevis and blade assembly. Slide a bead onto the wire next to the clevis and blade assembly.
- 5). Slide a lure body onto the wire. Choose a lure body made of metal or plastic. Use solid colors or a body with a painted pattern.
- 6). Hold the wire with a pair of needle-nose pliers 1/4 inch below the lure body. Bend the wire around the needle-nose pliers with a second pair of pliers to form a "U" shape. Slide a treble hook onto the wire and down to the U-shaped bend.
- 7). Hold the bend of the wire with the needle-nose pliers. Bend the wire around the jaws of the pliers to form a loop. Wrap the free end of the wire around the main wire length just below the lure body to secure the treble hook.
