Ruger Carbine Trigger Assembly Removed from Receiver
The photo shows the Ruger carbine trigger assembly, as removed from the receiver. All you should need to do to clean it is to knock out the crud and grit using a small brush, and wipe down the steel surfaces with a very light coat of oil.
At this point, be extremely careful with the rest of the gun. That action spring is strong, and you do not want it to go flying around on its own. Trust me on this.
We deal with that sucker in the next step.
