If you're alive and healthy, then you have many reasons to be happy... even if you don't realize so. You see, the world is indeed a wonderful place to live in, and there are plently of reasons to be excited about it. And if you're like most people, there's a good chance you barely realize this!
Well, maybe it's time to come out of your shell and start enjoying the finer things in life. Sometimes you'll find these nuggets of well-being across the world, other times you'll find them across your neighborhood. It's just a matter of getting out and looking!
You don't need a lot of money to see the world.
Sure, traveling is a wonderful thing and you should try to get to know the world during your lifetime. But if for some reason you're unable to travel, or you just can't afford it... then you really need to set your perspective straight.
Most people think of traveling as an expensive hobby... but these days it's no longer the case, not since the advent of low cost flights. There are many countries out there that you can visit without spending much more money than you would by staying where you are. You just have to do some research!
Sometimes people think of traveling as going to those typical and expensive travel destinations, but there are actually many alternatives nowadays. Not to mention that you can actually get to know different cultures by reading about them. It's not quite as exciting as being there in person, but information is information.

There are almost three hundred countries in the world! And most people can't name but half dozen of them. Don't be like that, otherwise you'll be seriously missing out on a great pleasure. You don't have to be rich to do some travelling... you just have to be interested in it and make appropriate plans, taking advantage of the low cost alternatives which are readily available.
With that in mind, maybe it's time to stop making excuses and start getting to know the grand old Earth?
