Rock Jetties

• Small crabs and fish live in the protection of the rocks that make up a jetty. Game fish prowl along the jetty waiting for an easy meal.
  
  

Piers

• Piers are constructed on pilings, which serve as the base for all sorts of marine life, including borer worms and bait fish.
  
  

Channels

• Shipping channels are the highways for large vessels and fish as well. Predators wait along the channel edge for bait fish to swim across.
  
  

Wrecks

• Whether it is a sunken vessel or a large man-made reef, fish love structures of debris that have settled on the sea floor.
  
  

Bottom

• The safest place for fish is near the bottom, where they can eliminate the threat from much of the environment around them. A common saying among anglers is that 90 percent of the fish spend 90 percent of their lives on the bottom.
