How You Became Interested in Tattooing:

I knew I wanted to tattoo when I was working the counter and saw how happy clients were when the would leave the studio with their newest tattoo. It's so intimate and personal yet with some clients you'll never see them again. I starting helping Kane (ex-husband) answer phones and do paperwork. That led into scrubbing tubes and taking care of the cleaning at the shop.

Being around tattoos and tattooing so many hours a day made me develop a serious interest for it.

My favorite 'style' of tattooing would be anything that is well rendered, bold, clean, and easy to read. I really enjoy tattooing everything, especially colorwork.

Words of Wisdom From Kim Taylor:

Be patient. It should be a no brainer, but I notice alot that when people want a tattoo they want it RIGHT NOW. Relax, it ain't going anywhere.

You don't want a rushed tattoo. When you rush, you end up with crap, or crap you'll regret. I think the main reason people get so pushy is because they're nervous. They're afraid if they don't get that tattoo RIGHT NOW, that they wont get it at all. That is simply not true. Just relax, be patient and for the love of all that is holy - don't rush a tattooist.
