How to Use a MIDI Keyboard in Vista
- 1). Shut down the computer.
- 2). Plug the MIDI keyboard into an available USB port on the computer.
- 3). Restart the computer. Click "Start" and type "Device Manager" into the "Search" box. Press "Enter."
- 4). Click on the "?" representing the uninstalled MIDI keyboard. Insert the driver CD into the computer.
- 5). Select "Driver" and click "Install Driver." Select the letter of your optical drive to install the appropriate driver for your Vista OS.
