The Cataloochee Ski Area is a ski area that is open throughout the winter months from November to February with some reduced schedules in parts of March.
This is an area that features a top elevation of about 5,400 feet in elevation and features a vertical drop of more than seven hundred feet.

Ski passes are also very affordable.
Lift tickets are less than thirty dollars in most cases on weekdays and about fifty dollars on weekends.
Different tickets are available for day, half-day, twilight and night skiing sessions as well as full-day tickets.
