Clean the walls of any dust or dirt. Remove any loose plaster and patch, before starting.

Purchase a can of textured wall covering, and pour some of the textured wall covering into an empty bucket.

Begin by dipping a 4 inch paintbrush into the treatment and liberally covering it with the wall texture.

Dab the paintbrush onto the wall, working in 1 foot sections.

Brush the dabs so you have an even layer on the wall surface. Apply less covering near the corners or the baseboards.

Smooth over the textured wall covering with a rectangular grouting spade.

Let dry overnight and then paint with the color of your choice.
