How to Make a Terranium With Two Liter Soda Bottles
- 1). Place the empty 2-liter soda bottle on a flat surface and measure 6 inches from the base of the bottle. Draw an even line around the bottle at the 6-inch mark.
- 2). Slice the bottle carefully along the marked line to create two separate pieces.
- 3). Fill the bottom half of the soda bottle with 2 inches worth of potting stones, then fill the remainder of the bottle with potting soil.
- 4). Insert five to 12 plant seeds of your choosing an inch down into the potting soil. Spread the seeds out across the potting surface.
- 5). Moisten the potting soil with tap water.
- 6). Squeeze the sides of the bottom half of the soda bottle, then fit the top half of the bottle over it. Seal the sides of the bottle with adhesive tape.
