Emmitt Smith is best know for being the leading rusher in NFL history with 18,355 yards, breaking the previous record held by Walter Payton, on October 27, 2002. He also holds the career record for most rushing touchdowns and was the featured running back for three Super Bowl-winning Dallas Cowboys teams.

Best Season:

Emmitt Smith put together many great season seasons, but his 1,773 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns performance in 1995 was probably his best individual season. Over the course of the season, he averaged 4.7 yards per carry and added 375 yards on 62 receptions.
