Housekeeping is Not R-18!
Kids are adorable little creatures.
We even refer to them as cute little angels inside the house.
Yet as they grow up, we sometimes protect them from the harsh realities of life such as housekeeping and doing simple chores.
For a lot of parents, their cute little angels should not even smell the dust in the house! That's ridiculous! Sooner or later, the kids will realize that they are living in a place that needs maintaining and housekeeping and housekeeping is not for adults only.
Parents need to realize that too.
The sooner you get your kids doing house chores, the more responsible and confident they would be when they grow up.
When I get married and have kids of my own, I want the family to be working together, playing together and spending lots of time together.
This does not mean that we should always go to the mall together or eat out together.
What I mean is, we can also start enjoying time together by doing the things that have to be done at home like housekeeping and maintaining order inside the house! If we spend time together accomplishing various tasks, then we are shooting two birds with one stone.
The house becomes clean and orderly and we are able to spend time together, thus strengthening our bond as a family.
It will take time before I establish my own family.
But one thing is for sure, I want my future kids to become responsible and confident as they grow up.
If they do, they will become productive citizens of our society.
Kids, after all start their journey through life inside the home.
