• "Super Mario 64 DS" is a Nintendo DS port of the classic "Super Mario 64" game originally available on the Nintendo 64 console. The game features all of the same levels from the original game, with added bonuses such as minigames, extra playable characters and use of the DS touch screen. Ground Pound Save

• While falling from a great height, perform a ground pound by pressing the "R" button in mid air. You will smash into the ground, but land safely and not lose any life points. Also, you cannot die while performing the ground pound unless you completely fall off of the level.
  
  

Quick Health Recovery

• If you are low on health, jump into a pool of water and dive under water for a moment. Your breath meter will appear and your health will be restored to full once you emerge again. Perform this as much as you like, as it can be a life saver.
  
  

Princess Secret Slide

• Enter the Princess's tower and jump into the portrait of Princess Peach. This is a hidden slide level that will reward you with two extra lives. The first life appears as you are sliding down. Grab that one, and another life will be waiting for you at the bottom of the slide. This is great way to stock up on lives for those harder levels.
  
  

Luigi's Five-Card Draw Poker Cheat

• If you are dealt a bad hand in Luigi's poker game, just exit the game and come back in. This will not affect your score, and you will retain your coins. Perform this until you are dealt a good hand to build up a high score.
