Maintenance

• Always maintain your garage door properly to make sure the tracks are not bent and the springs are securely in place.
  
  

Children

• Do not allow children to play under an open garage door, or in front of a closed garage door as they may be difficult to see when you are pulling out. Discourage children from climbing the garage door.
  
  

Safety During Operation

• Be sure that everyone is clear of the garage door before you open or close it.
  
  

Balance

• Check the balance on your garage door at least once a month as per the instructions in the owner's manual. Proper balance allows for safe and predictable use of the garage door, even with an automatic door opener.
  
  

Automatic Opener Testing

• Periodically check the auto-reverse feature on your automatic garage door opener to make sure it is functioning properly.
