On the day of Holi these social groups make arrangements to dig out round pits in which logs of wood are arranged in a circular style. In the night all nearby residents gather at the venue of Holika Dahan and during the specified time logs along with other material are set on fire by an elderly person. As soon as holi is ignited the area becomes vibrant with the shouts of the celebrators. Then coconuts are dropped in the burning Holi by the religious minded people.
