Shawna: I just got lucky in finding this place. I was driving down the street when I saw it and decided to check it out. I had gone to many daycares and was unhappy and did not like them. When I walked in here, I liked everything I saw: the toys they had and the things the teachers were doing with the kids. The temperature of the room in winter was nice and warm.
Child Care Review Pros and Cons
Pros: They were teaching her how to color and write and sing songs and do the hokey pokey all before I did.
They give her flash cards, they always have some art work to bring home, and they have carnivals and go trick or treating around the street or in the building. They have the nicest toys--all the things I wanted when I was a kid--play houses, kitchen sets, and lots of educational toys like "learning to climb the steps" activity.
Cons: Not one thing. I really am so happy my daughter is here!

Features: It used to be $150 a week for 4 days but now it is around $135 now that my daughter has moved to a bigger room. Full time 5 days a week is $150 for a toddler, I think (as of November 2008).
Comments: They watch my toddler from 7:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. They are flexible in who picks my daughter up and the days I take off as long as I let them know in advance who will be picking her up on which days and what day of the week she is off. She attends four times a week. She smiles from the second we pull up, she likes to ring the doorbell to get in herself, and she cries when we leave.
They just went trick or treating (even the little kids) and we signed permission slips and they brought home a little bag full of stuff and a stuffed animal and book donated from Kohl's Department Store. They are sooo wonderful!!! Their number is 412-271-4840.
Dates attended: Since my daughter was 2 months (she is now about 21 months) and is currently attending.
