I was in that same situation not long ago.
But thankfully, that situation changed for the better once I started looking for a StarCraft 2 strategy guide.
When I first started playing StarCraft 2 I was terrible.
I got it for the sole purpose of fighting other players.
But as it turned out, I wasn't really good at it.
I always got rushed very fast and defeated.
There were a few times where my opponent was a bit slower and I managed to repel the first attack.
But I could never find it within me to get my economy back and mount a counter attack.
After several battles, I realized that I was moving very slow.
It was like my hands were always cold and I couldn't move them as fast as I wanted.
Not only that, but in every game, from start to finish, I was nervous.
I knew it that I had to move fast because my opponent was already marching towards me.
I got defeated in so many ways that I couldn't even begin to remember them all.
But after watching a few replays, I realized something.
I needed a StarCraft 2 strategy guide.
So I started looking for a strategy guide, or at least some strategies, for StarCraft 2.
Once I got some, I began trying them on quick matches.
It was a bit better because I knew what I had to do.
I didn't have to think about my opponent rushing me, I could think about my strategy and how to implement it.
And that took the edge off a little.
After I got used to the strategies I got, I began playing matches again just to end up the same way.
I was able to fight back a little, but the end results were the same.
It was obvious to me that the StarCraft 2 strategy guide helped, but I needed more.
I had to learn a lot more about the game if I were to compete with the good players and make it out of the Bronze League.
Looking for information on this, I found several StarCraft 2 guides.
I picked up one of them and started using it.
It is then that I saw my mistakes.
I didn't just need a StarCraft 2 strategy guide, I needed a complete guide.
One that covered strategies, tactics, basic information, ways to improve APM, details on each units and so on.
There was a lot to read about and I read it all.
After a couple of weeks, I was ready to fight players again.
This time things did go a lot better.
Within just a few matches I got out of the Bronze League and entered the Silver.
I was moving a lot faster in game and a lot more fluent.
I wasn't pausing all the time to pan the camera or to move the army or a specific unit.
I learned how to make the most of keybinds so that I could control my army and still build up my economy at the same time.
The Diamond League is my quest and I will make it happen.
So far I've been dominating matches easily.
Maybe it's because my opponents only used a StarCraft 2 strategy guide and not the complete set.
