The Most Important Attribute You Need to Be a Successful Entrepreneur
Of all the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur, there are some that are more important than others.
In fact, one characteristic is of more importance than all others.
If you had to choose just ONE factor that you think contributes most to entrepreneurial success, what do you think it would be? Would it be the capital to really launch? Would it be the ability to talk to other businessmen? Would it be a strong customer base? Maybe an excellent ad package? Marketing skills? Or maybe you think it is the luck factor that some seem to have in abundance? None of these is the most important.
Though all these are important to entrepreneurial success, there is one simple little word that really makes the difference.
That word is persistence.
The ONE, single most important factor in determining a person's success is PERSISTENCE.
Persistence means hanging in there and hanging on.
It doesn't matter if you are succeeding or failing, making money or losing it.
What matters is that you keep onworking your heart out.
Quitting never wins anyone anything.
Hanging in, persisting is what will gain you the success you are after.
No, it doesn't mean to just keep on doing what you are doing if it is not working.
Keeping on doing what is not working for you only insures further failure.
It does, however, mean to keep on trying.
Try something different, or tweak what you are doing.
Maybe you need to keep doing what you are doing, but do it more stringently.
Maybe you need to scrap everything you are doing and start over.
But, if you don't keep on doing something, NOTHING will happen.
It can be very disheartening to keep sending out that Ezine, and getting only subscribers that put in their free ad and never look at your Ezine.
Likewise, it is disheartening to advertise day after day and get little or NO response.
But, if you want to succeed, you have to keep on.
You have to decide what needs changing or tweaking, or if you just need to pursue it over more time.
IF YOU NEVER CRANK THE CAR, YOU WILL NEVER MAKE THE TRIP.
IF YOU DON'T KEEP THE MOTOR RUNNING, YOU WILL NEVER GET THERE, EITHER.
Determine, TODAY, to pick up where you left off, begin anew, and strive to your utmost to make a go of it.
Just keep on keeping on, changing as you need to, but doing SOMETHING every day.
Eventually, you will learn something, or something you are doing will hit a success streak, and you will be "off and running.
" MEET YOU AT THE FINISH LINE!
