How to Build a Car Out of Trash for a School Project
- 1). Plug in the glue gun and insert a glue stick. Cut the straight bottom piece from the wire hanger using the wire cutters. Cut the wire piece evenly in half.
- 2). Wash the juice container and allow it to dry. Coat the outside of the juice box with white glue and cover the box in the desired color of construction paper.
- 3). Draw the car doors, trunk, and lights on the box. Draw a windshield on the top of the box. Cut around the drawing, leaving the bottom of the windshield attached to the car. Fold the windshield so that it stands up.
- 4). Carefully poke a wire through one side of the box and out the opposite side to create the front axle. Repeat this step at the back end of the box to create the rear axle.
- 5). Poke a hole in the center of a milk lid. Slide a flat plastic bead on the wire. Slip the milk lid on the axles with the flat side toward the cars body. Place another bead on the wire. Carefully place a drop of hot glue on the end of the wire. Repeat this step with all of the milk lid tires.
