How to Watch DVD's on a Pentium II Laptop
- 1). Browse to the VLC Media Player website using the link in the Resources section of this article. Click the download link on the right side of the page, and save the file to your desktop. Double click the file to begin.
- 2). Select "English" as your installation language, and click "Next."
- 3). Read through the software license agreement. If you agree to the terms, click "I Agree."
- 4). Click "Next," then click "Install." The files needed to run VLC Media Player will be extracted and copied to the computer's hard drive. Click "Finish" and the program will launch.
- 5). Insert the DVD into your DVD-ROM drive.
- 6). Click "File" in VLC Media Player, then click "Open Disc."
- 7). Click the radio button labeled "DVD (menus)" to play the DVD with the original menus, then type the drive letter of your DVD-ROM drive in the box labeled "Device name." Usually, the drive letter is "D:."
- 8). Click "OK" to play the disc.
