Locations to Recycle a Rechargeable Battery in Memphis

17
    • Rechargeable batteries have an advantage over conventional batteries since when their charge dies down, they can be recharged for further life. Eventually, though, even a rechargeable battery will fail to hold a charge. When that occurs the battery must be recycled at an approved location. Recycling reduces waste in landfills, prevents harmful chemicals from contaminating soil and water and reduces the need for raw materials for new batteries. In Memphis, Tennessee, several locations accept rechargeable batteries.
