Cremation Bench Monuments
- A monubench is a combination of a bench and a headstone. The headstone is typically situated at one end of the bench and serves as the bench leg at that end. The leg can have a cremation chamber in which to put a loved one's ashes.
- There are larger granite benches featuring a 36-inch by 14-inch by 4-inch granite seat. Five sides of the bench seat are polished. These benches have wide, deep legs which can be used for cremation remains.
- Families who wish to be cremated and buried together can purchase larger benches with four urns in the bench leg supports. This style features a long base with four urns. The 4-foot seat is placed on top of the extended base to cover the urns. This type of bench can also be placed on a granite foundation.
- Ashes need not be built into the bench for a bench to be included in a loved one's memorial. A granite foundation with an embedded headstone, a bench and one or two urns is also an option.
