A student"s confession on owning a car

40
A student's privilege can only extend to as far as their parents allow them to. When it comes to finances, they don't have much say especially when it comes to big ticket items like a car. I'm a student. I should know. We students live on an allowance given to us daily. We either use it up for food or save it for certain things we want to buy. But when it comes to saving so we can buy a car, the idea is far-fetched. It'll take us years to be able to come up with the amount of money that can get us a decent car. We're too young to get car finance in Sydney or perhaps any other part of the world so we rely greatly on our parents as far as owning a car is concerned.

New car dealers [http://tynan.com.au/carsales/new.php] offer great cars with the guarantee that what you get is of top quality. It comes with additional features that you may or may not need and it also comes with insurance and all necessary car stuff. However, the cars are costly. New car sales often sell cars at higher rates simply because they are brand new cars.

However, there are also "second-hand" or used car sales out there that sell great cars as well. The only difference is that these cars are previously owned but are still in an A-1 or in good condition. They wouldn't sell it if it weren't anyway. Used car dealers [http://tynan.com.au/carsales/used.php] offer your used cars at lower rates and can also guarantee you of good quality. Used cars sold are certified and have been thoroughly checked.

If you're a student like me, you have two options to present to your parents and you might just be on your way to owning a car.
