You"Ll Never Save Your Marriage Unless You Know This First
It's hard for any of us to think clearly in the middle of a marriage crisis.
Every thought is consumed by it.
From the time you wake up, until the time you go to bed.
You eat, sleep and breathe it.
That is if you can even eat at all right now.
I know, and forgive me if I'm too bold.
When my wife first brought up the subject of divorce, I couldn't eat for nothing.
My being was totally consumed by the feeling of losing the best thing in my life.
And it made me absolutely nauseous.
I couldn't shake it.
The worst part about all of this, is my wife didn't seem to care.
Don't get me wrong, she might have cared somewhere deep down, but she sure wasn't going to show it.
Not at this point.
So, her lack of compassion really made things worse.
It was then, I really knew she was serious about leaving.
Who would have thought, that me a grown man, could be such an emotional train wreck.
It was then, I realized, it was time to get myself under control.
But how? So, I did what any husband who is struggling to save their marriage does.
I started to seek advice from those I thought might know what they were talking about.
But, it turns out they were just as clueless as I.
Nothing they could tell me even came close to what I finally learned.
Their advice, although desperate at the time, was all I had to go on and none of it worked.
But, I'll tell you now what works.
You have to get these emotions under control as soon as possible.
I mean it.
If you don't, then nothing you try in between to save your marriage is going to work either.
You have to begin learning right now how to act and react from somewhere deep down that's different than how you're actually feeling.
I know it might sound tough to remain positive and not act out of anger, but it's absolutely critical.
Your marriage depends on it, finding focus and knocking out a plan of action to keep your wife from walking out the door.
You can do it, I know you can.
If my pitiful self can do it, then so can you.
You just have to start as soon as possible.
Every slip of the tongue right now could be the last, and then it's going to be even harder.
