How to Create a Rotating Logo for a Website

Open a new document in Photoshop. Make it the size and resolution your want for your rotating logo. - 2). Go to the Tools panel, and change the foreground and background colors to what you want to use. In this case we will use red and green. Select the Fill tool, and fill the background with green.

Go to the Layers panel, and create a new layer. Now, select the Text tool, and type out your text. Go to "Layer", "Rasterize Type." - 4
Go to "Edit," then "Transform," and select "Distort." Grab the left side handle, and drag the handle in a fraction, using the ruler at the top to keep track of how far you moved it. Now grab the right side handle, and do the same. - 5
Go to "Edit," and click "Save for Web." Save the document as a GIF file to its own folder. Since you will be creating a series of these, it would be wise to number them: Rotating 1, and so on. - 6). Repeat Steps 4 and 5, each time incrementally increasing the file number. Continue doing this until you have fully rotated the Logo 360 degrees. Try to be very sure that the logo ends up in exactly the same position it was in when you started, or you will have a glitch in the animation.
- 7). Open ImageReady. Go to "File" and click "Import Folder as Frames." Go to the folder where you saved the images you made in Photoshop and import the entire folder into ImageReady. Each of the images should now be in order in the ImageReady timeline.
- 8). Go to "File," and click "Save as Optimized." Select "GIF" as the file type, and save it. You now have an rotating logo you can add to your site. You can preview this file by opening it in your web browser.
