Green Tea Supplements and Food Poisoning

37
Green tea supplements are good for killing bacteria - the bad kind of bacteria you would rather not have.
Like the bacteria you ingest because of old lettuce, that you thought you'd try to get one more serving out of.
I know from experience.
Last week I planned on having lettuce salad with our noon meal.
When I went to the fridge to start getting lunch ready I noticed the expiration date on the bag of lettuce was a couple days past.
I'm just a few blocks from a store, but it's January and we were in the middle of freezing rain and sleet and the roads were slick, so I decided to look a little closer at the lettuce.
After inspecting it and smelling it, it looked okay to eat.
It wasn't slimy and it didn't have a bad smell, so I went ahead and put it in bowls to eat.
You probably know where I am going with this story, don't you? I ate the lettuce and it wasn't too long afterwards my stomach started cramping up.
The culprit was food poisoning from that bad bacteria.
Boy, did my stomach hurt.
I knew a green tea supplement could curb food poisoning, because that is one of the benefits of green tea.
Since, I take a supplement that contains green tea extract, I took two extra pills when the cramps came on.
Just a side note, my husband chose not to eat salad at that particular meal, so he didn't get sick.
What a lucky guy.
He didn't need the benefit of an extra green tea supplement that day, which is a good thing, because the way I felt I wasn't interested in sharing my bottle.
After about an hour my stomach cramps calmed down.
I didn't feel like my stomach had been run over with a two-ton truck any longer.
It was still a bit sore, so before I went to bed, I took 2 more pills and in the morning I was as good as new.
I am one of those people who can't tolerate very much caffeine; so drinking green tea was not a good option for me.
A better option was green tea supplements that still gave me all the same benefits.
The supplement I take has 60mg of green tea extract in it, but it also contains essential minerals, vitamins, enzymes, amino acids, and other herbal extracts like ginkgo biloba, milk thistle, and alfalfa extract.
If you take green tea supplements along with other nutrients, you will want to check out my web site.
You'll find you can spend a lot less money if you combine all these fine nutritional ingredients together into one bottle.
You'll get the same the great benefits of a green tea supplement plus many more.
And you'll save money and have the convenience of just one bottle instead of a whole shelf full.
What could be better than that?
